As 2020 was such an eventful year, we wanted to show how we have evolved since 1986 and how we intend to continue looking forward as a company. We are still the same old (and some not so old) faces.
Additive-X defined; “X” links to our 30 years+ as “Express” Terminals and “Express” Group. “Additive” positions us in the additive manufacturing industry. Combined “Additive-X” embodies our collective drive to add value and do eXtra for our customers.

You’ll find us nestled between the rolling North Yorkshire Dales and heather coated North Yorkshire Moors in Ripon, one of the oldest cities in England with a tradition for Hornblowing dating back to 886AC. We are well located, close to the A1M which makes visiting us from the North or South a breeze!
Absolutely, our demo and training rooms have been purpose built for this! Our printers are able to be seen up-close and personal. Due to Covid-19, we would request that you call us prior to visiting for an appointment. We are also happy to do online demos for you, just contact us and we can set that up.
We can accept cake for payment, but this must be pre-authorised by the Director of Beancounting. Otherwise, You can pay for products using a debit card, credit card, PayPal or bank transfer. We accept the following cards: Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard and Maestro.
We found that Owl Delivery Service Ltd could not deliver their promises to us, so we decided to partner with DPD, Royal Mail and Nidd Transport (pallet delivery). Through them we can offer next day and timed delivery options. Next day delivery is free for orders over £100+VAT to England, Scotland & Wales, (excluding Scottish Highlands and Islands). Please call 01765 694000 for delivery costs to Scottish Highlands and Islands and Northern Ireland.
Additive-X are the official service providers for all the brands we represent in the UK and Ireland, get in touch and we’ll be able to help if we sell your printer brand.
Unfortunately, no, we currently only support our 3D Printers for the UK and Ireland. Through our partners network of resellers, we should be able to point you in the right direction though.

If your printer requires a repair outside of its warranty period then an inspection charge of £60+VAT will be made by Additive-X. any further charges for parts and labour authorised prior to Additive-X carrying out this repair on your behalf. You will have to arrange shipping, ensuring that your printer is packaged appropriately for us to receive.
There are lots of different settings, which vary across the different 3D printers and manufacturers. Some settings are appropriate for some builds, but not for others. If you get into any issues with your 3D printer, whether you are having technical issues, or the quality is not up to scratch, just give us a call or send us an email or log a support ticket and we’ll do our best to help.
In the unlikely event that you should need to cancel your order please call is as soon as possible on 01765 694000. If you haven’t yet received your goods, or you are waiting on an item that is out of stock then you are entitled to cancel your order for a full refund.
You can request an RMA number to return products within 30 days, in brand new condition, complete with original packaging. Email your request to sales@additive-X.com, however, it is your responsibility to arrange and pay for the safe return of the goods you wish to send back.
