What is the Expert Rating Index?

The Car Expert’s award-winning Expert Rating Index compiles and aggregates car reviews from across all of the UK’s top motoring sites. As of July 2023, we have 500 cars indexed and rated, based on more than 15,000 manually curated new car reviews. More cars are added to the Index every week.
We track 35 of the UK’s best motoring titles, with reviews from the country’s best motoring journalists as well as independent safety ratings, environmental ratings, reliability ratings and more.
